FAQS

  • This class is for expectant parents at any stage of pregnancy who want to feel more prepared for labor and birth. Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, epidural, or cesarean, the information and techniques taught will help you navigate your experience with ease. Partners and support persons are highly encouraged to attend.

  • It’s best to take the class in your second or early third trimester, but it can be beneficial at any time before birth.

  • This class is held once per week for 5 weeks for 2.5 hours.

  • The Mini Birth Prep class is usually held on a Saturday for 3 hours.

    • A notebook and pen for notes

    • Comfortable clothing (for movement and relaxation exercises)

    • A pillow or yoga mat for comfort

    • Water and snacks

    • Your birth partner (if applicable)

  • There are a couple of classes I HIGHLY recommend your partner coming to if at all possible. Other than those, yes, you are welcome to bring a friend, sister or mom with you to class in lieu of your partner’s absence.

  • No, but some medical insurance companies DO cover childbirth classes. Check with your insurance to see what is covered. A lot of times, they will reimburse you.

  • Yes, it does! I will provide you with a course completion form upon request.
